電化學(xué)式:氣體通過(guò)多孔膜背面擴(kuò)散入傳感器的工作電極,在此處氣體被氧化或還原,這種電化學(xué)反應(yīng)引起流經(jīng)外部線(xiàn)路的電流的變化,通過(guò)測(cè)量電流的大小就可測(cè)得氣體濃度。
催化燃燒式:催化燃燒式傳感器屬于高溫傳感器,催化元件的檢測(cè)元件是在鉑絲線(xiàn)圈(φ0.025~φ0.05)上包以氧化鋁和粘合劑形成球狀,經(jīng)燒結(jié)而成,其外表面敷有鉑、鈀等稀有金屬的催化層,對(duì)鉑絲通以電流,使檢測(cè)元件保持高溫(300~400℃),此時(shí)若與可燃?xì)怏w接觸如甲烷氣體,甲烷就會(huì)在催化劑層上燃燒,燃燒的實(shí)質(zhì)是元件表面吸附的甲烷與吸附的氧離子之間的反應(yīng),反應(yīng)完成后生成CO2和H2O解析,而氣相中的氧由被元件吸附并解離,重新補(bǔ)充元件表面上的氧離子。利用元件測(cè)量甲烷式基于在其表面測(cè)量甲烷燃燒反應(yīng)放出的熱量的原理,即燃燒使鉑絲線(xiàn)圈的溫度升高,線(xiàn)圈的電阻值就上升,測(cè)量鉑絲電阻值變化的大小就可以知道可燃?xì)怏w的濃度。
紅外式:由不同原子構(gòu)成的分子會(huì)有的振動(dòng)、轉(zhuǎn)動(dòng)頻率,當(dāng)其受到相同頻率的紅外線(xiàn)照射時(shí),就會(huì)發(fā)生紅外吸收,從而引起紅外光強(qiáng)的變化,通過(guò)測(cè)量紅外線(xiàn)強(qiáng)度的變化就可以測(cè)得氣體濃度。
